Yodit Habte facilitates our Nobody's Perfect Parenting Program, in addition to being a Home Instructor for the HIPPY program at Mothers Matter Centre.

Born in Ethiopia from Eritrean parents, Yodit is fluent in English, Amharic and Tigrigna languages. She holds a Bachelor's degree in hydraulics and
civil engineering, but after moving to Canada in 2018, she made a career change in the direction of her passion for helping and supporting newcomers and their families, and working with children. She has since obtained certifications in adult education, the science of early child development,
violence against women, mental health first aid Canada, immigrant settlement, and integration.

In her free time, Yodit loves volunteering to assist migrants and families in need, reading and listening to music, and spending time with her daughters.
